Hoodia Max is claimed to be an all natural appetite suppressant manufactured by Supplement Spot, located in Spring, Texas. Hoodia Max contains Hoodia Gordonii (or Xhoba, as it is referred to by the Kalahari Desert Bushmen). Since that time millions of people have tried Hoodia worldwide to suppress their food cravings and there have not yet been any Hoodia side effects to report. As we know only the South African variety has been shown to provide appetite suppression and one needs to know whether the company behind any hoodia product is selling true original hoodia gordonii species based product so we have laboratory analysis for authenticity.
Hoodia Max passed Alkemist Pharmaceuticals independent test of authenticity. They sell only 100% Pure Hoodia Gordoniii, not a 20:1 Hoodia extract like much of the inexpensive and ineffective Hoodia on the market. HoodiaMax imports their Hoodia from licensed suppliers in Western Cape, South Africa.
Their web site states-
Hoodia Gordonii purchased ONLY from licensed South African Western Cape Conservation suppliers, sanctioned by authorities to sell the protected flora of South Africa and specifically Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia Gordonii imported from South Africa and capsules produced in the USA under strictest FDA Standads.
Hoodia Max should not be confused with Hoodia Maxx a product with a very similar name using similar ingredients. The difference is that Hoodia Max is manufactured to GMP standards while Hoodia Maxx is not!
One bad thing about Hoodia Max is that they’re fairly cheap. The top hoodia brands - the ones that are proven to contain 100% authentic hoodia gordonii - are expensive. They’ll usually cost around $60/bottle. Hoodia Max is selling for only $40 per bottle. So this is sort of signal that the hoodia contianed in the product is not pure or contains vey little amount of pure hoodia to make it worthwhile.
